I have had so many wonderful shoots over the past two weeks. I have been so busy that I've neglected my blog. So here's the recount, try to keep up. :-)
Mary-Robin started it off in Fort Worth with her beautiful prom dress from last year, we went to Joe T Garcia's afterwards to feed Chelsea's mexican food addiction. I then went on to shoot Kelsey Case and Devin Dourgarian, both from the same Argyle high school, in Deep Ellum. There was an art festival going on that I had not expected to find near the generally abandoned streets of Deep Ellum. Nicole McDonald's senior pictures were next. Nicole adores the Asian culture so we made our way to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens to take pictures in her authentic Kimono. I had never been in the Japanese Gardens before, it is absolutely breath taking.
The second week began with Remi Robinson the spunky little model with a "rockin' attitude" (As Chelsea would say). Then Ryan and Rachel had their engagement session at the Stockyards. They had such great chemistry that all I had to say was "be cute" and they came up with the most adorable poses.
I have a theory that Glen Rose couples upon finding out that they are having a child suffer from what I like to call Unique-name-itis. They become unable to think of any name that they have heard used before. I don't think I have photographed a child from Glen Rose that did not have an amazingly unique and original name. Having said that, Chelsea and I used her new studio to photograph Britain, Bralyn, Brennan ,and Brody on Wednesday.
We finished out our week with a wedding. My favorite. We were set up outside at the Country Woods Inn. The weather was so nice and warm until it started hailing out of nowhere. Fortunately we were able to contintue shooting after it slowed down. Everyone had so much fun. There really is nothing more fun than dressing up for a photo booth.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the past two weeks.
